Located at the starting point of North Coastal Highway, Badouzi has the rich fishery resources and due to its adjacency to Taipei metropolitan area. Badouzi enjoys the advantages on tourism and traffic accessibility. After the implementation of five-day work scheme, the participation in recreational activities has been greatly concerned. In recent years, Badouzi has been developed into a modern recreational Fish Harbor.
Its vicinity includes scenic sites such as National Museum of Marine Science and Technolngy, Shuinan Hole, Jinguashi, Jiufen, and Keelung Island. Several international competitions have been held here. “Haigung Vessel,” the first fishery testing boat, was exhibited here for public visit, showing another charm of Badouzi!
